LeBron James Crying 2016: Cavs Forward Can't Keep Emotions In Check After Winning NBA Finals, Replace 'Crying Jordan?' [VIDEO]
Michael Jordan may soon find himself replaced when it comes to being the featured basketball player with a viral crying meme on the internet.
After winning Game 7 of the NBA Finals on Sunday Night, Cleveland Cavaliers Forward LeBron James could barely keep his emotions in check after his team managed to put an end to their city's curse of over 50 years without a single athletic title by bringing home their first-ever NBA title.
Now, following not only his moment on the court immediately after the game ended where he got down on the floor and cried, but also his bawling while hugging his teammates in the aftermath, he could be on track to finally succeeding legend Michael Jordan as the viral meme.
Social media lit up with memes, tweets, and other comments which showed James' tears, and #CryingLeBron even managed to trend as more and more was posted about his reaction to the win. Not only was he compared to Michael Jordan, but other memes of his crying spoofed HBO's Game of Thrones by joking about his face being added to the "Hall of Crying Faces" and comparing him to Kim Kardashian. His face was also used when others wanted to make fun of Golden State Warriors shooter Steph Curry.

James' reaction wasn't entirely unexpected though, as he reminded during a post-game interview that he had planned on bringing a championship title back to Cleveland when he went back to the team two years ago.
"I set a goal, two years when I came back, to bring a championship to this city," he said.
