Monica Potter Home: Actress Offers Fun Activity For Kids To Try When School's Out [PHOTO, VIDEO]
Monica Potter just revealed something fun that kids can do to keep themselves busy during the summertime.
With school being out, the kids might be spending more time at home with only so much to keep them busy. If any parents would like their children to try something creative, then Potter has a suggestion that sounds pretty joyful-- making a jar.
On Monday, the actress and entrepreneur took to Instagram to post a photo of a jar that has the words 'I'm Bored' written across it.
In the caption, Potter wrote that making something like this could definitely be worthwhile when there's not much to do.
"Summer is in full swing, which means a lot of you may be looking for things the kids can do when they say, 'Mom, I'm bored,'" she wrote. "Try making your own jar of fun options for the kids."
In an exclusive interview with Potter, she opened up on some things that people can do to make cleaning a little easier when the dust settles in. There are things that can be beneficial while others are things that people should stay away from.
"One that I do daily: don't use harsh chemicals on things, obviously," Potter said. "Go back to your grandmother's recipes....and try to not overuse paper [products]...that's what I love about Viva...they're soft yet strong and you can use them over and over...And get your kids involved! Because when I learned how to clean I was very young and it's become a passion of mine."
The actress also dished on her diverse acting career and if she has a favorite genre.
"I like all of them," she said. "Because when you're in a drama, you find comedy. When you're in a comedy, there's heartfelt moments, so I look at them kind of all the same."
