Kailyn Lowry Twitter: 'Teen Mom 2' Calls Becky Hayter Her 'Girlfriend'? [VIDEO]
Is Kailyn Lowry dating her longtime friend, Becky Hayter, after announcing plans to divorce husband Javi Marroquin?
According to a new report, the Teen Mom 2 star and mother of three is extremely close to Hayter, but their relationship is not romantic.
“They’re just friends,” a source close to Lowry told Radar Online on Thursday. “They’ve known each other for a while and always mess around, calling each other ‘bae’ and ‘girlfriend’ because it’s funny.”

During a recent trip to New Jersey, where Lowry and Hayter visited a pride festival in Asbury, the two women were seen getting cozy with one another and at one point, they were photographed kissing. Lowry even shared a photo of the two of them on Instagram, and captioned the picture, "Girlfriend status."
“They innocently kissed, but of course people blew it out of proportion,” the source explained, adding that Lowry is not over dating men.
As for Lowry's relationship with Marroquin, the source claimed they recently began talking to one another on Twitter.
“Whatever is going to happen will happen,” the source said of a possible reunion. “But she wants it to be her and Javi’s decision with no outside involvement.”
During the Teen Mom 2 season seven reunion earlier this week, Lowry and Marroquin spoke to Dr. Drew Pinsky about their decision to part ways.
"He was not helpful, not sympathetic," Lowry said of Marroquin's response to her 2015 miscarriage, via Us Weekly. "I think he was going through it on his own, but we didn't know how to help each other."
"In my mind, I knew it wasn't her fault," Marroquin explained. "I was just hurt, and I took it out on her — that was my mistake. That's where our marriage kinda started going downhill."
Lowry then spoke of her son Isaac's bond with her soon-to-be ex-husband.
"That's a huge reason why I think we're still together," she said. "Because Isaac, I mean he calls Javi 'dad.' So yeah, that plays a big factor. I think about my mom … I probably had about eight stepdads as a kid."
