Mike Shouhed, Jessica Parido: 'Shahs Of Sunset' Moves Into Hollywood Hills Home [VIDEO]
Mike Shouhed has a new home, and his longtime friend and Shahs of Sunset co-star, Reza Farahan, is helping him turn the place into a bachelor pad.
Months after Shouhed's wife, Jessica Parido, filed for divorce, Farahan says it's time to get Shouhed's home ready for his new life as a single man in Los Angeles.
"Well, he just moved into a new Hollywood Hills home. He has asked me to decorate it for him and we're almost done. The place is going to look spectacular and he's been having bitches come over to like [hang] and stuff," Farahan told The Daily Dish on Friday. "He's like, 'Rez, girls come over and they're like, who did this? Whose place is this?' Because no straight man would make a place look this great. And he's like, 'Well I have a decorator.' I don't know if he's dating, but I know he's f***ing — a lot."
"Here's my tip, when you're decorating you cannot go to one place and buy everything from that place," he explained of his design inspiration. "What I'm doing for Mike is I'm mixing, 'cause he gave a budget to work with. I'm mixing vintage mid-century modern pieces that I'm buying [online] and in local stores with less expensive things from CB2 and West Elm. I'm buying him great '70s art, knick knacks, Jonathan Adler pieces. So it's gong to look like he's collected these things for a really long time."
Although Farahan was never Parido's biggest fan, he's not happy about his friend enduring a messy split.
"It's definitely not rewarding [being his voice of reason]. I don't feel great about it. I wish that things had turned out differently for Mike," he said. "And I wish that they had waited through that ugly period because there were all these accusations and issues that were coming up for them and instead of dealing with everything, they kind of just rushed and got married as fast as possible. And then show how they assumed once they got married, those things would vanish — which obviously didn't happen and unfortunately they're getting a divorce."
