It was shocking for Nicole (Arianne Zucker) when she learned Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) was still alive and holed up at Chloe's (Nadia Bjorlin) cabin as she faced the idea of going to jail for a murder she didn't commit, but now, she will be ecstatic when she realizes Deimos is willing to return to Salem to clear her name for her on Days of Our Lives.

Deimos has agreed to head back to town with her, proving himself to be alive so Nicole can be cleared of not only a crime she didn't commit, but one that doesn't even exist. His return also means Kate (Lauren Koslow) can be exposed as the one who really pushed him, leading to his fall in the river, and her entire elaborate set-up of the crime to take Nicole down will be over. However, before they head back, Deimos will tell Nicole he has one condition before he goes back to town.

For now, he will want to keep the truth about his being alive a secret, because he wants to get revenge on Kate for what she's done the right way, and simply getting Nicole exonerated and seeing Kate potentially walk off in handcuffs for trying to kill him just isn't enough. Before he proves to the police that he isn't dead and lets them know the truth, he will wan to go to Kate so he can show her that messing with him was not the option she should have taken.

He will plead with Nicole to just give him time to get the revenge he seeks, so he can prove to Kate that she messed with the wrong guy, and shouldn't try to mess with him again. And though her desperate desire to have the charges against her dropped will scream that the best thing is for him to just come forward, the part of Nicole that also loves a good revenge story will quickly decide to let Deimos do things his way first.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
