4th of July Celebrations Phoenix 2016: Family Friendly Events, Picnics, Concerts & Fireworks [VIDEO]
The 4th of July holiday weekend has arrived and those in the Phoenix metro area and other cities in Arizona will be given a chance to show off their American pride with a bevy of events to celebrate the holiday.
A list of events for the weekend can be found below:
FRIDAY, JULY 1:
Where: Maryvale Baseball Park in Phoenix
When: 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Admission: Free, as is parking
About: The event features inflatable rides, games and activities, food, drink, and a fireworks display starting at 9:10 p.m.
Where: Pecos Park in Ahwatukee Foothills
When: 5-10 p.m.
Admission: $5.00 per person
About: Water zones, bounce houses, toddler activities, vendors, live entertainment, food, and fireworks at 9 p.m.
Where: Cliff Castle Casino Hotel in Camp Verde
When: Goes through July 3 with various events and times
Admission: Free
About: Family fun picnic July 34d from 4-9 p.m., Free hot dogs, chips and soda, activities for kids, fireworks on July 3rd. Cash prizes also available.
SATURDAY, JULY 2:
4th of July at WestWorld
Where: WestWorld in Scottsdale
When: 3 p.m.-9:30 p.m.
Admission: $12 in advance for General Admission, $35 in advance for VIP admission
About: Live music, super kids play zone, food, drinks, and fireworks at 9 p.m.
SUNDAY, JULY 3:
Where: Saly River Fields in Scottsdale
When: 7:00 p.m.
Admission: Entry is free, Parking is $10.00
About: Movie inside the main stadium and fireworks display
Where: Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale
When: 5:00-9:30 p.m.
Admission: Free
About: Live music, family entertainment, deals at over 20 restaurants, and a fireworks show at 9 p.m.
Where: Anthem Community Park in Anthem
When: 6-10 p.m.
Admission: Free, ride wristbands are $15
About: Fireworks displays, rides, activities, and food
Where: Casino Del Sol Resort in Tucson
When: 8:30 p.m.
Admission: Free
About: Large fireworks display
