Corey Simms News: 'Teen Mom 2' Twins Prepare For First Grade [VIDEO]
Corey Simms' twins are headed to the first grade.
On Instagram earlier this week, the Teen Mom 2 star's dad, Jeff, posted a photo, reminding fans that Ali and Aleeah are getting older -- and fast.
"Can't believe this little girl is now a first grader! #aligrace," Jeff captioned his "flashback" photo.
Since Teen Mom 2 season seven began airing earlier this month, rumors have been swirling in regard to Simms' possible exit from the series.
“Corey feels MTV did him dirty,” a friend of Simms told Radar Online in March, claiming Simms felt producers let "pill-popping" Messer off easy.
“He thinks they had the perfect opportunity to show viewers, ‘This is what happens when you get on drugs, this is the reality.’ Instead, they made it seem like Corey was constantly attacking Leah for no reason,” the source explained.
During Teen Mom 2 season six, Messer was seen slurring her words on the phone and nodding off with a baby in her arms, and according to Simms' friend, her on-screen behavior was only the tip of the iceberg.
In response to the outrageous behavior, Simms and wife Miranda decided to film less scenes for the show during season seven.
“Corey told MTV just what he thought about the situation, and said that he and Miranda would not film nearly as much as in past seasons,” the friend revealed. “Producers understood.”
One month later, a source spoke to The Ashley's Reality Roundup, claiming Simms and his wife had not traveled to Los Angeles to film the Teen Mom 2 season seven reunion with their co-stars in April.
“There was really no reason for Leah’s guys to go this time,” the source explained. “Last time, Jeremy’s segments didn’t even air. It’s a huge effort to fly across country for them, since they are in West Virginia, arrange for child care, take off work, etc, just for a weekend of shooting. They don’t care about the free trip or anything at this point. They’d rather stay home.”
