'General Hospital' (GH) Cast News: Ingo Rademacher 'Stoked' To Be Coming Back To Port Charles [VIDEO]
His character has been off-canvas for a while, and now, Ingo Rademacher is opening up about his return to the role of Jax on General Hospital.
The actor, who is set to make his big return to the show later this month, has taken to social media to share his excitement about coming back.
Rademacher took to his Instagram account earlier this week to share some of his excitement about being back on the set and working with his co-stars, Laura Wright, who portrays his on-screen ex-wife Carly Corinthos, and Maurice Benard, who portrays Carly's new husband, Sonny Corinthos.
"Stoked to be back on set working with @thereallauraw @mauricebenard @generalhospitalabc," he captioned a photo of himself standing next to a car.
Rademacher has been off-screen since 2011, though his character is referenced often on-screen through the daughter he shares with Carly. Nothing has been explicitly stated about his character's return, though it is expected to tie into a recent story where Carly has been investigating the kidney that their daughter Josslyn (Eden McCoy) received.
Josslyn had allegedly received the kidney that was donated from Jake Webber (Hudson West) after he was believed to have died a few years back following a car accident where his grandfather, Luke, ran him over with a car. As a part of Luke's exit storyline back in 2015, it was revealed that Jake had actually survived the accident and Helena Cassadine had been instead holding him on Cassadine Island the entire time. With his return, Carly realized the kidney that her daughter had came from elsewhere, and she has since been investigating. Jax's return is believed to be attached to that storyline.
General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
