Zooey Deschanel Caption Video: Fox News Labels Marathon Bomber 'He is 'Zooey Deschanel' Instead of Dzokhar Tsarnaev [WATCH]
Does Dzokhar Tsarnaev sound like Zooey Deschanel?
Dzokhar=Zooey; Tsarnaev=Deschanel?
Fox News, at least, thought it did.
Zooey Deschanel made headlines on Saturday after Fox News wrongfully labeled her as the Boston bombing suspect during live broadcast of the manhunt in Watertown, Massachussets.
Fox News was covering the manhunt in Watertown on Friday when the network wrongfully featured the caption "Marathon bombing, he is 19-year-old Zoeey Deschanel."
The name pronounced by the Fox News anchor wasn't the actress' name but the suspect's: Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
Deschanel, 33 was aware that her name appeared in the captions on Friday and sent a tweet to her more than 4 million followers calling the captioning "epic."
"Whoa! Epic closed captioning FAIL! Oh my..." the actress Tweeted alongside a picture of the Fox News coverage.
Tsarnaev was captured on Friday night in the backyard of a Watertown residence where he was hiding inside a boat. Currently he is at a Boston hospital recovering from severe injuries and authorities are waiting to interrogate him and find more information about the bombing.
