Wendy Williams is no stranger to sharing her candid thoughts on her daytime talk show. But her latest rant has cost her a ton of money.

Word is that Chevrolet pulled out as a sponsor of the show after Williams shut down Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) as well as the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).

She said during her show, “On the other hand, I would be really offended if there was a school that was known as a historically white college. We have historically black colleges. What if there was the National Organization for White People, only? There’s the NAACP.”

Check it out at the 17:32 mark in the clip below.

Chevrolet signed a deal with Williams back in April that would include on-air promotion for the 2016 Chevy Malibu. It would also include digital content, and social media marketing. It was supposed to go until the end of the year, Love B. Scott reported Saturday. But now, Chevrolet has axed the deal in light of Williams’ statement.

Interestingly enough, Andrea Holmes Thompkins, who is the President and CEO of Ace Media Corp, the company that put together the deal with Williams, is a graduate of an HBCU, Howard University.

One insider told the site that Williams has been “sobbing all week” but still will not apologize.

She has since backtracked and said that both of her father and brother are HBCU graduates as well.
