'Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta' Season 2: Mimi Speaks (Exclusive Interview) 'I'm More Outspoken Now,' She Says (PREVIEW VIDEO)
VH1 held a premiere party on Aug. 18 and screened the premiere episode of season 2 of Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta ahead of its debut on Monday, April 22.
The event was held at Ultra Lounge in New York City and several of the show's cast members were in attendance. Mimi Faust, Erica Dixon, K Michelle, Joseline Hernandez and Stevie J. posed on the red carpet and sat for a reunion-style roundtable discussion after the screening with the show's creator Mona Scott-Young.
Enstars spoke exclusively with Faust, an entrepreneur, who has been in an off-and-on relationship with Stevie J, a music producer for over 15 years. The pair have a young daughter together. Faust said the show's fans can expect a different side of her this year.
"I am more outspoken in season 2," Faust told Enstars.
When asked about the change in her personality- she displayed more strength in the premiere episode of season 2 after being more passive last season- Faust said she has grown significantly because she is "over it" with Stevie J.
In season 1 and in the premiere epsiode of season 2, the Grammy-winning music maker goes back and forth in a relationship between Faust and Hernandez, a former stripper.
"The constant barrage of bullsh*t at some point you are just like are you serious? I am so over this," Faust explained due to her relationship troubles. "When you are ready to be done with that situation you leave it alone. Period."
Faust has had a successful residential and personal cleaning business with a staff of 6 for over 10 years and is currently hard at work on launching a kids' clothing and accessory line and a home organizer product line.
In the preview clip for the premiere episode of LHHA season 2, Stevie tells Hernandez that she has no right to disrespect his daughter.
"Joseline is a lean, mean paper making machine and the two of us together, we the hottest team in the industry but she has to remember, there is a line drawn that could never be crossed," Stevie J tells the camera in his confessional. "When you start talking about Eva, when you start saying something disrespectful about my daughter, then you start crossing that line you gotta be dealt with."
Stevie J confronts Hernandez at a dance studio during her show rehearsal.
"You was getting out of line in front of my daughter," he tells her.
"Who lived there for three months? Everyday?" she replied. "Stevie, you always wanna go back and forth with Mimi the maid and Joseline the Puerto Rican princess."
"I made you the princess," Stevie replied.
"I was the princess without you," Hernandez fired back. "What are you talking about? You never asked me to leave. I packed my sh*t up and left their house. Now if you want to use that as an excuse be my guest, I don't give a f*ck, go be with your maid," she said of Faust. "She could have that, she's thirsty, she hungry and she need you and I don't. Go tell her to clean up!" she yelled before she walked away from him.
Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta season 2 episode 1 will air on Monday at 8pm on VH1
