He agreed to let Thomas (Pierson Fode) be the one to act as a father to his son and even confessed the truth about the situation to everyone else in the family, costing him his position as CEO, but now, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) will need to focus on making sure he doesn't lose his wife, Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) as well on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Though under normal circumstances he may not worry about Caroline falling in love with Thomas as they worked on raising their son together, the pair had a history years before the whole scenario with Douglas came along, and that, as well as the fact that Thomas clearly still wants Caroline, will give Ridge concern that his marriage could be in jeopardy.

Now, after comforting Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) over her own troubles because of her affair with Bill (Don Diamont) finally being exposed to Katie (Heather Tom), they will turn the talk towards his own problems, and despite his initial upset over being ousted as CEO in favor of his father, Eric (John McCook) taking over again, he will admit losing his job isn't his primary concern at the moment.

"You know, I think my dad running the company is the right thing," he says to Brooke in a preview clip for the Wednesday, July 20 episode. "I've got to focus on my family."

When Brooke asks him what he means, he will admit to his concerns about letting Caroline and Thomas share the experience of raising their son together, and how it could stir up old feelings. He will also admit that he thinks it already has, and that he could lose Caroline quickly because she seems to be once again becoming enamored with Thomas.

"They way she looks at him is the way she used to look at me," Ridge admits in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
