It's already been a year since Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert officially pulled the plug on their marriage and announced their divorce, and Lambert has taken to social media to reflect on the year since.

The singer, who's new single Vice, is hitting number one on the charts, took to Instagram to reflect on the last year and how music not only helped her cope with the end of her marriage, but heal from it as well.

"The last year of my life has been one of heartache and healing...of learning to be honest...accepting the flaws and celebrating the smiles. Finding peace in dark places...having some moments alone with me. Facing fears and feelings...All of them. I got to know my guitars...became friends with a pencil and paper...Used melodies to lead me places I had never been...Made music with my friends. Because music is medicine. This means the world to me. Thank you for joining me on this journey. #vice #musicismedicine," she captioned a photo showing the song at number one.

It is Lambert's first song from a new record since the divorce. Shelton released his new album, If I'm Honest, which was his own reflection on the divorce, as well as his new relationship with Gwen Stefani, which was born from the pair bonding over their mutual splits on the set of The Voice last fall.

Stefani also released her own album about her divorce from Gavin Rossdale and her burgeoning relationship with Shelton, This Is What The Truth Feels Like.

While Shelton and Stefani's romance has dominated headlines since they went public in November, Lambert's own new romance with musician Anderson East, which was revealed after New Year's this year, flew more under the radar.

Shelton and Lambert announced their divorce last July, and it was finalized later that same day. They were married for four years and had been together for 10. Stefani's divorce from Rossdale went public a few weeks later, as well as the revelation he had cheated on her with a nanny. They had been married for 13 years.
