According to the latest batch of rumors regarding Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's marriage, the pair are on track to take a big step and get married, thanks to some advice from Gwyneth Paltrow.

According to Hollywood Life, Shelton and Stefani are consulting with a lawyer on a prenuptial agreement should they plan to marry, and the idea to work out these sort of terms, even if marriage isn't currently something either one of them is considering, was credited to Paltrow, who encouraged them to make sure it was all worked out in advance.

According to the website, Stefani confided in Paltrow on her split from Chris Martin back in 2014, and she told the newer couple "to hash out as many details as they could now while they're head over heels for each other. This includes annual 'marriage summits' in which they sit down and check in with each other, set goals and discuss setbacks."

It was further reported that the pair then "agreed to keep their finances separate and if they have a baby, to divide assets and custody fairly."

If Shelton and Stefani did have such a meeting and were making such plans, it would be an indicator that the couple does see a future together, and wants to make sure they are preparing for it. However, following their respective divorces (Shelton's from Miranda Lambert has been official for one year, while Stefani's from Gavin Rossdale was only made official a few months ago), it seems unlikely they are making plans to marry anytime soon.

Not only have the couple flat out denied rumors in the past that they were planning to marry or have kids, they've also been cited as not wanting to rush into marriages after the situations they went through with their exes.
