A special concert will take place in Minneapolis this fall to honor late singer Prince.

After the legendary icon died last April, it was announced in Thursday's report from ABC that a tribute concert will be happening in his hometown. Tickets are supposed to go on sale next month and the show will be on October 13.

It's not yet known who will be performing, but an announcement should be happening soon.

In a statement from Prince's siblings, it was mentioned how "moved" they are by the "love and support" from all the fans.

"We are excited for the opportunity to bring everyone together for the official family celebration of Prince's life, music and legacy, and there is no better place to do it than his hometown of Minneapolis," the statement reads. "We are honored by the artists who will pay tribute and grateful to those that have worked so hard to make this celebration possible."

A number of people around the globe have commented on Prince's death and the mystery that came from it. In a previous report from CNN, the singer's bodyguard Chris Gaither revealed that he was around Prince pretty much all the time. And with rumors of drug addiction taking place, Gaither shot those reports down, saying he would've noticed if something like that was happening.

"I packed this man's bag on the daily," Gaither said. "I have been on tour with him for months. So if anybody had an addiction that would be something you would see. That would be something that you would know."
