Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson Date, Attending 2013 MET Gala Together After 2013 Coachella?
Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have been inseparable ever since he returned from his Australia movie shoot last month.
The On The Road actress - who has reportedly decided to hold off working to focus on her relationship - is scheduled to attend the annual MET Gala in New York City on May 6 and because of her love for fashion, the 23-year-old has asked her British boyfriend to join her.
According to a friend of the couple, Stewart wants to attend the event, which is the fashion industry's most swanky event of the year, but she doesn't want to attend alone so she has already asked her boyfriend to join her.
"Kristen loves fashion and loves Rob. She would love for Rob to attend the MET gala with her in New York in May," a source told Hollywood Life. "She knows Rob isn't crazy about these types of events and having to dress up, but she has asked him."
The source didn't reveal if Pattinson will be able to join her on the red carpet because of his professional commitments but the Big Apple is one of their favorite places to visit so he is considering it.
"No word yet on whether or not he can go or if he has a scheduling conflict, but he knows Kristen would be over the moon if he joined her. They both love hanging out in NYC together, so it could turn into a romantic, fun getaway for them. And Kristen wants to spend as much quality time as she can with Rob before he starts filming his next project."
The 2013 Met Gala will be held at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art in New York City ahead of the opening of the PUNK: Chaos To Couture exhibit. Beyonce was named the honorary chair of the event; she will co-host with Rooney Mara, Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci and VOGUE editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
Pattinson was seen at LAX airport carrying his own luggage in Los Angeles on Tuesday from a return trip from Malibu without Stewart. The couple recently displayed non-stop PDA at the Coachella festival consecutively for three days.
