U.S. Women's gymnasts Aly Raisman and Simone Biles will be the two finalists for the country as the Rio Games continue on.

The two teammates snagged the only spots that were allotted for team USA in the finals (each country can only have two athletes compete in the round), which kept defending champion Gabby Douglas out of the finals. While Raisman is more of a known name because she was a part of the Fierce Five in the 2012 London Games, Biles is a new face.

Here are five facts about the two competitors hoping to win gold for Team USA:

Previous Wins and Competitions

Biles, who was too young to be a part of the Fab Five in 2012's London games, has made an impressive debut since then. Not only is she a four-time U.S. all-around champion and Three-time World all-around champion, but she has been a U.S. Vault and Uneven Bars silver medalist once each, and a two-time U.S. Balance Beam, U.S. Floor Exercise and World Vault silver medalist. She is also a one-time World Balance Beam and World Vault Bronze Medalist.

Raisman was a part of the Fab Five in 2012's games and finished fourth overall. Other impressive finishes since those games have included the 2015 U.S. floor exercise champion and all-around bronze medalist and 2015 World team champion, as well as the 2016 U.S. all-around, balance beam and floor exercise silver medalist.

Hometowns/Backgrounds

Biles was born in Columbus, OH and was adopted by her grandparents in 2003 after her birth mother was unable to care for her or her sister due to a drug addiction. She was homeschooled throughout high school and graduated in the summer of 2015.

Raisman was born and raised in Needham, Mass. She graduated from Needham High School in 2012.

Ages

Biles is 19. Raisman is 22.

Other Claims To Fame

Biles was still relatively not as well-known, but Raisman also appeared on Dancing With The Stars in 2013, finishing fourth on the dancing competition with partner Mark Ballas.

Their Friendship Is Pretty Wonderful

Raiman has admitted that Biles and the other girls on the team like to refer to her as either "Mom" or "Grandma" because she likes to sleep a lot, while "Baby" Simone is someone that Raisman thinks is crazy because she always seems to have a ton of energy.
