'Pretty Little Liars' Season 4 Spoilers: Details On Future Halloween Episode & 'Ravenswood' Tie-in, VIDEO
ABC Family's hit TV series Pretty Little Liars is currently in the midst of gearing up for its season 4 premiere in June.
While there have been a slew of spoilers coming out lately on its future episodes, the topic of its Halloween special abruptly came up, courtesy of social networking.
Recently, one of executive producer Joseph Dougherty's followers queried him on Twitter whether the holiday installment would be set prior to season 4.
"Is the Halloween ep a prequel this season? Or is it more like 313," asked @fangirlxdiaries.
The Liars' EP tweeted the fan back with the following response:
"It'll happen in continuity, between the events of 412 and 414."
Since the Halloween festivities in the real world have already transpired, the EP's follower further questioned Dougherty on how he would clarify the time element in the future episode.
"Continuity? But they're seniors and Halloween has already happened this year, so unless you're sending them to college..?" @fangirlxdiaries wrote.
"We'll show it at Halloween, but it isn't set at Halloween," Dougherty tweeted back.
Wet Paint speculated that a present-day episode would be the most sensible, as the pumpkin day installment will be introducing its loyalists to the world of Ravenswood, which is a potential spin-off that's on the table for the Pretty Little Liars franchise. The proposed spin-off would familiarize audiences with three residents of a cursed nearby town called Ravenswood.
Pretty Little Liars will kick off its fourth season on Tuesday, June 11 at 8/7c on ABC Family. Keep checking back for more of the latest details on the show and Ravenswood.
