Kaley Cuoco made waves with her unfortunate choice in hairstyles at this year's SAG Awards. The Big Bang Theory star opened up on Jimmy Kimmel Live about the reasoning behind her temporary look.

According to Cuoco, walking down the read carpet with bangs and straightened locks in place of her naturally wavy hair was an unintentional result of a poorly executed onset prank.

Cuoco had teamed up with cast mate Johnny Galecki to stage a fake, but dramatic, fight to get one over on the rest of the cast and crew. However, according to omg!, things went a little too far and Cuoco ended up needing six stitches in her forehead in addition to having a black eye.

"They [the crew] thought I went under [the table] and sprayed blood on my face," Cuoco said on Kimmel, according to the Inquisitr. "I had cracked my head open and I had blood squirting down my face. I didn't even know. I had no idea."

"It was really, really bad," the 27-year-old actress told Kimmel. "So I decided to have the brilliant idea to get bangs. As you can see I don't have bangs so I had to get fake bangs."

With how harsh the reviews were, Cuoco would have been better off donning the black eye and stitches.
