Taylor Swift has reportedly drop $17 million on a Rhode Island abode. $17 million in cash, that is.

According to TMZ, the 23-year-old picked up the 11,000 square foot home for below the asking price of $20 million.

Swift was seen touring the Rhode Island home back on April 15, reports the Huffington Post. The country music singer has sold the Massachusetts home that once kept her close to former love interest Conor Kennedy, instead picking up another New England home.

However, Swift pulled in a $1 million profit on the Hyannis Port, Mass. home, according to E!.

A source told Vanity Fair "it was like a house-flip... a good short-term investment."

With 700 feet of waterfront and 5.23 acres of land, it looks like Swift is trading up. While the previous Cape Cod-style home costing $4.3 million, the Grammy winner scooped up the new residence for a purported $17.75 million.

Media sources wonder if any of Swift's romantic interests live in the vicinity.

"People say that about me, that I apparently buy houses near every boy I like-that's a thing that I apparently do," Swift joked to Vanity Fair. "If I like you I will apparently buy up the real-estate market just to freak you out so you leave me."
