Drake And Rihanna Dating 2016: Here's What Chris Brown Thinks About The Rapper's 'Corny' Statement
While Drake made it clear he has “been in love with Rihanna” since he was 22 during the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday, we couldn’t help but wonder what her infamous ex-boyfriend Chris Brown thinks about what Drake had to say. And now we know.
Brown might have not been at the awards show in New York City, but he has definitely heard about Drake’s profession of love for the island beauty.
“Drake’s doing too much and Chris is laughing at him behind his back,” a source told Hollywood Life Monday. “Between the billboard and the speech—that’s not being a gentlemen, that’s just being corny.”
They went on to say that Drake is wasting his time trying to lock down Rihanna.
“Drake is trying to be all smooth, but he’s failing because Rihanna doesn’t want him.”
In Drake’s defense, Rihanna seemed to be fond of the billboard Drake put up for her.
She posted it on Instagram the day before she received the Michael Jackson Vanguard Video Award Sunday.
The sign reads, “Congratlations to Rihanna from Drake and everyone at Ovo.”

As for their moment at the event, Drake presented Rihanna with the award, professed his love for her and the two kissed. There is speculation that Rihanna curved Drake and dodged his kiss; but others argue that she was actually the first one to lock her lips on his cheek.
