'Grey's Anatomy' Season 9 Spoilers & Promo VIDEO for Episode 22: Cristina & Owen Talk Having a Child
In a new episode of Grey's Anatomy, airing on ABC Thursday, relationships will be tested and one couple will talk about having children together - a conversation that could end their romance for good.
In episode 22, titled Do You Believe in Magic, former One Tree Hill star Hilarie Burton makes a guest appearance as a doctor in Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. She will play the newest craniofacial specialist and from the looks of the preview video shown below, she might come in between Callie Torres and Arizona Robbins' relationship. The video hints at one person being "unfaithful" to another and when Torres walks in on Arizona and Burton's character together, she seems visibly upset.
Owen Hunt and Cristina Yang will hit a stumbling block in their own relationship when they talk about having children. Owen has been helping Ethan cope with the loss of his parents and Cristina takes notice. As the couple lay in bed together she tells Owen, "you want a kid, don't you?"
A Canadian promo clip for episode 22 shows the aftermath of the CDC investigation and Miranda Bailey giving her fellow attendees the cold shoulder for not supporting her when she was suspected of spreading three fatal post-surgical infections
Do You Believe in Magic was directed to Kevin McKidd, who plays Dr. Hunt in the ABC series. An official synopsis was released by the network regarding the upcoming episode:
"The doctors reach out to Bailey but she continues to shut everyone out; after an incident with Ethan's grandmother, Owen fears the child could end up in foster care; and a new craniofacial specialist (Hilarie Burton) arrives at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital to work on a young patient; meanwhile, a magician's assistant is rushed into the ER after a magic trick goes terribly wrong."
The official synopsis for episode 23 - Readiness is All - was released by the network recently. The May 9 episode will show a major storm coming to Seattle similar to Superstorm Sandy.
Grey's Anatomy's season two, two-part finale airs May 16 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
