IFA 2016 Recap: Top 5 Gadgets Unveiled At The Event [VIDEO]
Germany's biggest tech event, the IFA 2016, is over, and the world has once more glimpsed tomorrow's technology today. With all the gadgets that were revealed in the event, here are five that won the hearts of many.
1. Lenovo Yoga Book
What is definitely remarkable about Lenovo's laptop/tablet/digital art tool hybrid device is the fact that the tech giant seems to have achieved the Golden Mean of tech design. Externally, the device looks a lot like the rest of the Yoga line, with its matte finish and watch hinges. Once it pops open, however, the device turns into something remarkable, complete with a halo keyboard with haptic feedback and a stylus.
2. Asus ZenWatch 3
2016 seems to be the year of round smartwatches, with Asus taking a bold step in the third iteration of its flagship smartwatch. With a very attractive finish, a Snapdragon 2100 chip and Android 2.0 set to arrive, the Asus ZenWatch 3 seems to be a very formidable contender in the smartwatch market.
3. Acer Predator 21 X
The Acer Predator 21 X is everything mainstream laptops are not. It is nowhere near portable with its 18-lb. frame, it has a massive 21-inch curved screen, and it its really thick. What it lacks in portability, it makes up for ridiculous amounts of power, however, as the Predator 21 X is equipped with up to 64GB RAM and 2 Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 desktop-grade graphics cards inside. Yes, it's that powerful.
4. Razer Stargazer Webcam
While a webcam might be a strange item to include in this list, the Stargazer's capabilities are beyond revolutionary. Capable of removing and switching backgrounds without the need of a green screen, the razer Stargazer might very well usher in a new era of webcam technology.
5. Sony Xperia XZ
For a long time now, Sony has been continually bested by its rivals in the smartphone market. That might all change with the Xperia XZ, however, as the phone is, from top to bottom and inside out, a flagship device. With one of the best cameras in the market, the Xperia XZ might just be what Sony needs to make a big splash in the smartphone industry.
