Fall 2016 Fashion Must-Haves: How To Totally Revamp Your Wardrobe
While it may still be a balmy 90 degrees outside, fall truly is just around the corner. Our nights are chillier and the days are shorter. My local Starbucks even had the heat on when I stepped in for my morning latte!
Because the colder temps are still in the (not so distant) future, you still have time to stock up on fall-ready pieces. Not sure what you need? Check out our handy guide below.
A duster coat is the perfect way to ease your summer wardrobe into fall. They're lightweight enough to work for chilly early fall nights, and can work layered over a sweater.
A longer-than-long sleeve top is this season's off-the-shoulder trend. It lengthens your arms and torso and is an easy silhouette to pull off regardless of body type.
Instead of the easy-breezy silks and satins of summer, opt for a luxe, heavy velvet. The texture is perfect for pairing with grungier pieces, like raw-hem jeans and bleached denim jackets.
There's no question why the calf-length boot is Kendall Jenner's favorite silhouette: The shape lends itself to a million styling possibilities. I personally prefer a more rounded toe, but this will work with a point-toe, too.
Finally, chokers are still a hit for fall, but instead of the wispy velvet styles, opt for a chunky style in a muted metal.
