Drake And Rihanna Dating: Rapper's Dad Insists They Are 'Just Friends' [VIDEO]
Drake’s dad has set the record straight on what’s really possibly going on between Rihanna and Drake and it’s not at all what people might think.
Drake’s father, who has been spotted out and about getting his party on lately, told TMZ, “They’re friends. They’ve been friends for years.”
This is a much different account of the two who reportedly finally went public with their relationship earlier this month.
He added, “Yeah…I don’t know about settling down. They’re friends…They’re friends.”
Even when asked about the billboard Drake bought for Rihanna, Drake’s dad said, “Everybody’s professing love.”
Drake had purchased a billboard for his rumored girlfriend ahead of her receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards last month.
“There’s no relationship,” he reiterated. “They’re friends.”
Even when it came to their matching tattoos, Drake’s father said it means nothing and even joked that he had a tattoo of TMZ himself to make light of the situation.
Meanwhile, Drake has had situations of his own after he was seen freaking out after millions of dollars of jewelry were allegedly taken from his tour bus earlier this week.
In a new clip, Drake is seen yelling and moving his hands after he was reportedly robbed.
Still, he told the site, “Nobody robbed me.”
When asked about someone being arrested in connection to the case, Drake looked shocked and asked, “Say what?”
Interestingly enough, Rihanna was with him.
