My Fair Wedding host David Tutera denied allegation by his ex that he is addicted to sex.

Tutera released a statement on Thursday in response to allegations that his former partner, Ryan Jurica, has made. After the host filed papers to end their decade long relationship, Jurica claimed that Tutera engaged in questionable behavior with sex escorts and prostitutes.

"After repeated attempts at marriage counseling and therapy, we have been unable to save our relationship due to [David's] addiction to sex," Jurica claimed in court documents. "[David] has engaged in a pattern of hiring sex escorts and prostitutes to support his addiction."

Tutera flatly denied the accusations against him, saying he felt they were made to negatively influence the opinion of others.

"The allegations against me are baseless and untrue and I will fight vigorously to defend my reputation in the court of law as well as the court of public opinion," Tutera said in his statement, released this week."I believe them to be fabrications of a desperate individual in order to gain a legal advantage in our separation."

His statement also addressed the matter of the couple's children. Tutera and Jurica are reportedly expecting twins this summer through a surrogate and both men have requested full custody once the babies are born.

Tutera felt the accustations about his behavior were an effort by Jurica to bolster his case.

"I am saddened by these developments; I am angered by the lies; and I am committed to moving beyond this painful moment to focus on my professional commitments and the upcoming birth of my children," Tutera said.

In addition to making sex addiction allegations, Jurica is requesting financial support from Tutera. In his legal documents he argued that the television host made substantially more than him.

Jurica is currently seeking treatment in rehab. His attorney, Bettina D. Hindin, said Jurica took the couple's split badly and began a downward spiral after papers were filed. Jurica has been arrested once for DWI and once for public intoxication in the past five months.

The two wed in Vermont in September 2003, according to Los Angeles County Superior Court documents filed by Tutera on April 19. The date of separation is listed as New Year's Day 2013.
