Vicki Gunvalson has a new man in her life, but weeks ago, the Real Housewives of Orange County star confirmed she was in no rush to settle down with new boyfriend Steve Lodge.

Following a number of controversial moments with former boyfriend Brooks Ayers on the 10th season of the show, Gunvalson appeared on Watch What Happens Live, where she confirmed she and Lodge were taking things super slow.

"I'm very cautious, I'm very slow, there's no need to rush anything," Gunvalson told Cohen earlier this summer, according to a report by Us Weekly. "I've been alone and single, I've been dating a lot of men, and it's been very intimate, I mean, not intimate, but we go on dates."

Gunvalson's relationship with the retired police officer was confirmed earlier this year and in the months since they made their debut, Gunvalson has been sharing a number of photos of herself and Lodge, who is currently working as a consultant at a public affairs firm in Anaheim, Calif.

"He's older and he's actually running for city council in November, so I hope everyone votes for him," Gunvalson gushed.

As for her career in reality television, Gunvalson said her beau is supportive -- but not very involved.

"He doesn't know much about," she told Cohen. "He just said, 'It's your career, your work, and I support whatever you do.'"
