There are many other new features in the iOS 10 update, but is it a good idea to update now? There have been new reports of the iOS 10 download "bricking" their iPhones, a.k.a. making them unable to use or even turn on. Check out some of the more alarming tweets about this:
So should you hold off for now? Apple has already issued a statement, stating to The Verge, "We experienced a brief issue with the software update process, affecting a small number of users during the first hour of availability. The problem was quickly resolved and we apologize to those customers."
The problem has apparently been fixed by Apple, but if you want to be more safe than sorry, you may want to wait until the next "bug fix" update - just to be sure.
