Teen Mom Farrah Abraham Sex Tape: 'She's Making Horrible Choices,' Says Dr. Drew Of 'Farrah Superstar'
Dr. Drew, who has counseled young mothers on MTV's Teen Mom series, commented on MTV star Farrah Abraham's decision to sell a sex tape to Vivid Entertainment.
In an interview on the radio show Zach Sang & The Gang, Dr. Drew said of Abraham: "If she would have called me for advice, I would have told her not to do this."
"But she is not my patient, she is not my kid," he said. "Farrah is making horrible, horrible choices. Let's say she takes that $2 million and opens a restaurant, which has always been her dream, how are you going to talk a 21, 22-year-old out of that? I just don't know."
Dr. Drew- who announced that Celebrity Rehab is canceled- also discussed Abraham's Teen Mom co-star Jenelle Evans. He compared the troubled reality star to actress Lindsay Lohan.
"Jenelle, I don't think, would be any different whether she was on Teen Mom or not. She needs long term treatment. She is a Lindsay Lohan style situation," he said.
Dr. Drew revealed that he has reached out to several reality stars to offer advice off-camera but said they wouldn't return his phone calls.
"I (offer)to give them messages they don't want to hear and then they don't call me back," he said.
Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham finalized a $1.5 million deal with Vivid Entertainment to produce and release a 70-minute film titled, Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom.
Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom will be available online at vivid.com on May 6, and will go on sale in stores nationwide on May 14. The adult film will retail for $39.99 as a DVD in stores, but members of vivid.com can download it for the cost of membership.
Enstars reported that after she garnered criticism for the deal, the reality star defended her decision to make a "personal video" and sell it.
