Gwyneth Paltrow Iron Man 3: Talks Pepper Potts' Spinoff 'My Fans Want Me To'
While Gwyneth Paltrow may have had a lack-of-underwear mishap at the Iron Man 3 premier, she is excited on the possibility of continuing her role in the series.
While Zap2it reports that Robert Downey Jr. is in talks to continue his role as the wealthy superhero, Paltrow thinks her character of Pepper Potts should get a in more on the action.
"The nice thing is that everybody's sort of been very sweet about Pepper in this movie, like all the journalists who came in," the 40-year-old actress said, according to Perez Hilton. "They were like, 'Oh my god, you have to have your own movie,' because in the comics, Pepper gets her own suit, and she becomes a character called Rescue. They're like, 'We need a Rescue movie,' and I'm like, 'Okay, well, I'd better hit the gym.'"
The role is defiantly a departure from some of her more demure roles.
"She's in the suit and flying around, and I loved doing the stunts.... I felt like I should've been doing this my whole life," Paltrow said, according to Us Weekly. "It's like, 'Why am I doing all these period films? It's so boring.'"
And the actress isn't the only one in her family who thinks action and superheroes are the way to go. Her 7-year-old son Moses loves the movie.
"He was in shock and awe. It was so cool," the mother of two said, according to Us Weekly. "And by the way, I now have a Lego in the set -- there's a Pepper, so I am a goddess. So fun."
