Dakota Fanning PHOTOS, Actress Spotted Strolling in New York City, Opens Up About Being Single
Dakota Fanning was seen strolling through the Tribeca neighborhood of New York on Thursday, May 2 wearing a white dress and a black leather jacket, and holding a bottle of Fiji. To finish off the outfit, the Twilight star wore black suede booties and a brown suede designer bag by Proenza Schouler.
The New York University student didn’t look like she was wearing makeup while she was chatting away on her cell phone.
In March, Fanning talked to Glamour Magazine about being single and how she doesn’t date often.
Dakota said, "I have a weird vision of relationships because my parents have known each other since second grade, and they got married right out of college. I’ve always thought that’s what it’s supposed to be like, and if it’s not, then I don’t want to waste my time on it," according to Mail Online.
She continued by saying, "Even when I was 14, I was like, 'I’m not gonna marry this person. What’s the point of doing it?' It’s not me being naive. I just know what it’s supposed to be like. And I think until I feel that, I cannot be bothered."
Although it is believed that Fanning dated fellow child stars Tyler James Williams and Freddie Highmore, the actress has never publicly dated anyone.
The young actress, who was a high school cheerleader and homecoming queen, will star in Night Moves, released in September, and Effie, released in October in the UK. She recently starred in Very Good Girls, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January.
Fanning recently appeared in Very Good Girls, the Academy Award-nominated writer's film about two girls who fall for the same street artist.
