Porsha Stewart Kordell Divorce Update: 'RHOA' Star Pregnant by Estranged Husband, Source Says
A week after reports said that Kordell Stewart "never" planned to really divorce Porsha Stewart and that he filed the petition as a publicity stunt, a source revealed that the reality star is pregnant.
An insider told Media Takeout that "Porsha is pregnant with her estranged husband's child" less than two months after he filed for divorce from The Real Housewives of Atlanta star.
The split is likely to turn into a bitter battle because Kordell does not want to "give up any money," according to the source. Because of her pregnancy, the estranged couple will likely return to RHOA for season 6.
Kordell filed for divorce on March 22 and the couple had been married less than two years. He told TMZ one of the reasons he filed for divorce is because he was "forced" to hire a nanny due to Porsha "neglecting her responsibilities to her stepson."
Porsha was "totally blindsided" and admitted that her and her estranged husband are still living together, she said on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live on April 22.
Enstars reported on a source that said the former NFL player "never" planned to divorce Porsha Stewart, and that he filed the petition as a publicity stunt. The insider, who claimed to work closely with the show's stars, said the couple created a fake divorce because they "desperately" wanted to be on the upcoming season of TRHOA.
"Porsha found out that she was NOT going to come back on the show - and both her and her husband [Kordell] desperately wanted to stay on the Housewives," the source told Media Takeout. "So they figured if they created a FAKE DIVORCE, like NeNe did - it would be enough drama for them to be asked back. They still live together and they are still very much a married couple."
A rep for Porsha debunked the claim in a statement released to HipHollywood, saying the alleged source's claims are "absolutely ridiculous,"
"Given everything this abrupt filing has put her through in the public, she would never bring something like this on herself, ESPECIALLY with them having a child in the house," the statement read. "She wishes things could have been different but that simply is not possible."
