Jennifer Lopez Video Shoot Interrupted by Gunfire
Jennifer Lopez's video shoot was interrupted by gunfire on Sunday.
Filming a music video for "Live It Up," Lopez was on a Fort Lauderdale, Fla. beach being interviewed by Rob Marciano of Entertainment Tonight, when some individuals started firing shots, according to Us Weekly.
Marciano jumped onto Twitter to talk about the incident, stating that Lopez's security sprang into action to make sure the singer was out of harms way.
"BREAKING: Gunshots fired on Fort Lauderdale Beach DURING my JLo interview. No kidding. Security scrambled her away," the interviewer tweeted.
According to the Daily News, Lopez was located in the south end of Fort Lauderdale Beach Park while the shots were fired in the northern section of the parking lot.
"Officers responded to the area in an attempt to investigate the incident; however, the individuals involved in the shooting fled prior to their arrival," said Detective DeAnna Greenlaw of the Fort Lauderdale Police, according to the Daily Mail. "At this time, there are no known witnesses, no reported injuries and no further information."
Just Jared reports that earlier in the day Lopez was seen shooting with Pitbull while her boyfriend, Casper Smart, joined her on the beach. Lopez could be seen in a both a green kaftan and a nude tone swimsuit for the video.
