Miley Cyrus Liam Hemsworth News: She Attends MET Gala 2013 Alone and Flirts with Lawson's Andy Brown? PHOTOS
The same day that Miley Cyrus walked the red carpet at the MET Gala without her fiance Liam Hemsworth, a report came out citing a source that said she may have been flirting with Andy Brown from the band Lawson.
Soon after the band traveled to America for a string of shows beginning in January, Miley, 20, began following Brown on Twitter. The Mirror noted that shortly after the two began messaging each other directly.
"Andy was excited when Miley began following him on Twitter. He's a ladies' man and big flirt and couldn't believe he'd attracted the attention of someone like Miley," a source said. "He's made no secret of the fact he finds her attractive and she's his ultimate celebrity crush."
Brown, 25, reportedly sent Cyrus a message last week when he was in Los Angeles, which was not mean for public eyes, especially Hemsworth's. The tweet read "Miley you comin!? X," according to rumors,
A Lawson spokesperson spoke to the publication about the friendship between the two singers, saying: "They've been partying in the week. Lawson are out there filming a video and Miley is a fan of the band."
Cyrus strutted the red carpet at the 2013 MET Gala in a Marc Jacobs black, mesh gown that she paired with a large cocktail ring and red lips. Her signature bleach-blonde hair was spiked up as a nod to the gala's theme this year - Punk: Chaos to Couture. The event was held in New York City.
The spring 2013 exhibition will be on view to the public from May 9 through Aug.14, 2013. The exhibit will examine punk's impact on high fashion from the movement's birth in the 1970s through its current influence.
