She was convinced she may have truly gotten away with not telling the truth about Sully really being Christian, but Sharon (Sharon Case) is about to learn that her secret isn't as safe as she thought on The Young and the Restless.

She has been getting hang up calls for a while, but now, she has learned the person on the other end is none other than Patty (Stacy Haiduk), the only other person alive who can spill the secret after she killed Dr. Anderson and Sage died in a car crash. And Patty won't hesitate to warn Sharon and threaten her that the truth will soon come out.

"Why're you doing this?" Sharon demands in a preview clip for the Monday, October 3 episode.

"You knew this day would come," Patty cackles.

Sharon learned the truth about her son, who she was led to believe she gave birth to while she was institutionalized at Fairview, shortly before Sage's death, and had promised her when she died that she would tell Nick (Joshua Morrow) the truth about the couple's son actually being alive. However, out of fear that she would lose Dylan (Steve Burton) because of it, Sharon has kept the secret to herself, telling only Mariah (Camryn Grimes) the truth, knowing she would keep it a secret as well. But now, with the knowledge that Patty could expose everything, Sharon will be thrown back into a panic about the consequences of her actions, and what could happen if the secret gets out.

However, the truth is even more complicated than even she knows. While she would be despised by both Dylan and Nick for lying to them both, Nick could also be disappointed by the eventual reveal, as he was not actually Christian's biological father. Sage had conceived the little boy with Adam, and though she is dead and Adam is presumed to be so, Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan) does know that part of the truth, and it could bring some new complications as well to the entire saga.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
