Kanye West Met Gala 2013 'I Am a God' Performance VIDEO & Scream at Annual Event with Kim Kardashian
Kanye West attended the 2013 Met Gala for the second time and brought along his girlfriend Kim Kardashian who has never attended before.
The couple hit the red carpet first to celebrate the Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual Costume Institute exhibit, Punk: Chaos Couture, on Monday.
West was dressed simple- he wore a tuxedo without a tie and solid white shirt by Riscardo Tischi for Givenchy and his pregnant girlfriend wore a floral print mermaid-style dress had a high neck collar, high-slit and a long train. She accessorized the look with matching gloves and hi-heel shoe.
According to a report, West played new music at the 2013 Met Gala's afterparty.
Kardashian received mixed reviews for her floral print formfitting gown, so West reportedly told her she looked "awesome" in front of the crowd to help ease her concern. Super model CoCo Rocha tweeted: "Kanye telling Kim not to worry what anyone says that she's awesome. Quite touching really #metgala."

The Watch The Throne rapper also performed songs from the Cruel Summer compilation album and debuted a new song, rumored to be titled I Am God.
DJ A-Trak, actress/model Jamie King, and model Coco Rocha posted Vine videos of West's performances in a video on Twitter. In the footage he is repeatedly yelling "I am God."

The day before the big night, the couple had dinner at the home of VOGUE's Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour the night before the event.
The Kourtney & Kim Take Miami star wore a chic black satin formfitting dress with white flower detail and white pumps with bold, red lipstick and parted sideswept hair to Wintour's home. Her beau wore a black crewneck sweater with black leather jeans.
