Yolanda Hadid isn't completely healthy, but she's on her way.
Following her exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Hadid, who chronicled her Lyme disease journey for three seasons on the show, offered a health update to fans.
“I’m back on a vey extreme diet: no gluten, no dairy, no grains, no caffeine, no alcohol, no black tea and nothing that turns into sugar,” Hadid revealed during an interview with People Magazine, via Radar Online, on Wednesday. “It’s boring, but I would eat bark for a year if it would save my life. I would do anything.”
“I’m 80 percent better,” Hadid confirmed. “I don’t know if we’ll ever be able to eradicate everything from by body, but remission sounds really good.”
Earlier this year, following the completion of filming on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season six, Hadid confirmed on Instasgram that she would not be returning to the show for its upcoming season seven.
"I would have loved a more graceful exit then [season 6] but sometimes we don't get to control the ending of the chapters in our life," Hadid wrote in a statement to fans in June. "I am leaving what's over without denying its past importance in my life. I believe that every exit is an new entry and with that in mind I say goodbye to my [Bravo TV] Family as I continue to focus on a my recovery, my children and bring back the privacy within our Home........... Thank you to all the fans for your love and unwavering support these past 4 years. I am grateful for the housewife experience and all it has taught me. I'am excited about this choice and look forward to the next chapter of my life."
