Lil Wayne shared details about being epileptic in a recent interview and revealed a fact not known to many - that when his seizures occur, he blacks out without any knowledge of what happened.

Weezy told MTV correspondent Sway on Rap Fix Live that when seizures occur, he has no memory of it and usually realizes it has happened when he goes to sleep and wakes up in the hospital.

"So everybody knows, I don't know that it happens," Wayne told Sway on Wednesday. "No warning, no nothing, I don't feel sick. I get headaches real bad. And the headaches? I didn't get no headaches (before) or nothing."

"I told them the other day, 'Y'all can tell me right now that y'all was lying, like, 'You know what? We lyin' ain't nothin,' and I'd have to believe them because I don't know," admitted the Young Money founder. "I go to sleep and wake up in the hospital. I don't feel anything. I just hope it stops happening."

The Lollipop rapper revealed a March interview with a Los Angeles radio station that he is "prone to seizures" because he is epileptic.

Wayne said. "This wasn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh...I have had a bunch of seizures, you just never hear about them." he said, referring to his most recent epileptic scare that put him in the hospital for almost a week.

He said on March 18 that the reason for his seizures is "just pain stress" mixed with a lack of rest and him overworking himself.

"That's typical me, though," he added.
