Chris Brown, Rihanna Split Sends 'Diamonds' Singer to Turn to Friends For Support and Partying [VIDEO]
Rihanna has been turning to her friends for support following her recent break up with on-and-off boyfriend and rapper Chris Brown.
She has been reportedly trying to take her mind off of the breakup by partying with her friends this week, according to Hollywood Life.
“After the Nets defeat on Cinco de Mayo, Rihanna and approximately 20 of her friends came to Pink Elephant in NYC to party till the lights went up,” said a source.
According to the insider, Rihanna came in an oversized shirt and heels, where DJ Spade played her songs and her favorite singers. The source added, “She didn’t drink and just let loose with her closest friends and some of the Nets players to her favorite tunes."
Rihanna had been seen going out with friends over the last several weeks, perhaps in hopes of mending her broken heart. She was spotted at a club on April 28, where she met up with another celebrity.
“She was dancing with Sean Kingston, but it was all in good fun and happened when Beautiful Girls came on,” said the source, adding, that Brown's name was not mentioned at all throughout the night. Rihanna has been keeping herself surrounded by close friends to distract her from her recent breakup, with Brown confirmed in a radio interview earlier in the month. She was also seen recently partying with good friend Katy Perry.
