Olivia Sprauer, a high school teacher was fired after a sexy bikini photo made its way to school officials.

The Huffington Post reported that Sprauer, an English teacher at The Martin County High school since 2011 said she decided to do a swimsuit photo shoot in February. On April 29, the 26-year-old who goes under the name Victoria James lost her job after one of her modeling pictures got in the hands of Alfred Fabrizio, the school's principal.

Sprauer said the principal showed her one of her modeling photos and, and after she confirmed the picture was of her, she was forced to resign the same day.

"I don't make pornography. I don't open my legs on camera. I take swimsuit glamour style photography," Sprauer said.

Sprauer said she feels she did nothing wrong and said that "lots of teachers get fired" for the same things she did. But she said she has bigger plans for the future.

"I knew I didn't want to come back next year and I knew I wanted to go to grad school so I decided if I made it to the end of the year I would be happy."

According to reports, although teachers in Florida are held to a statewide ethics standard and a district-level code, the state code of ethics does not mention modeling or moonlighting.

"By virtue of their leadership capacity, teachers are traditionally held to a high moral standard in a community."

Nonetheless, Sprauer said her students were very happy for her and wish her the best in the future.

"They are happy for me," Sprauer said. "They know I love them."

Sprauer said she still plans on attending her student's graduation.
