Around a year ago, Chipotle's E.coli fiasco happened. And while the casual dining chain is still reeling from the effects, they have come up with a way that might get their lost customers back for a burrito bowl or two.

According to Tuesday's call with investors, Chipotle plans to unveil new menu expansions, primarily focusing on dessert.

Chipotle is "actively exploring ways to offer new additions to the menu," founder Steve Ells claims. "Which are a good way to entice infrequent or lapsed customers to return."

The company is testing two new desserts, though it's unclear what they are and which one will be rolled out nationwide.

In addition to desserts, Chipotle is close to finding a new, better tortilla that's preservative and additive-free.

If you haven't heard enough about the new chorizo offering from the chain, you're about to: Chipotle is upping advertising dollars for the choice, so you're about to hear an awful lot about sausage.

Whatever, when are the chocolate burritos happening?!
