Though Justin Bieber was able to once again win over the heart of Selena Gomez, a new poll shows that the Boyfriend singer is not liked by Americans across all party lines.

The polling firm Public Policy Polling released the first round of results from their latest poll on May 9 and the report noted that "Americans are united in their dislike for teen pop sensation Justin Bieber."

Bieber, 19, was the only artist who tested unfavorably across all party lines. His numbers were 23 unfavorable to 54 favorable among Democrats, 17-52 among Republicans and 18-56 among Independents.

The national survey asked, "Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of Justin Bieber?" Also asked in the survey was "Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of pop music?" with 59 percent responding favorable, 26 percent responding unfavorable and 15 unsure.

Other artists who tested unfavorably, not taking into account political affiliation, were Chris Brown, Lady Gaga, Jay-Z and Rihanna.
Taylor Swift, Adele, Beyonce and Justin Timberlake had overall high approval ratings.

When asked who they would most like to see as president when given the choices of Adele, Justin Bieber, Beyonce, Chris Brown, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, or Rihanna, 8 percent chose Bieber. Thirty-four percent chose Timberlake, though majority of them (40 percent) also thought he should spend most of his time making music.

For presidency, Adele had 19 percent of votes, Beyonce had 14 percent, followed by Jay-Z (9 percent), Lady Gaga (9 percent), Bieber, Chris Brown (5 percent) and Rihanna (2 percent).
