Selena Gomez & Mom Pregnant PHOTO on Twitter: Singer Reveals News of Another Sibling on Mother's Day
Selena Gomez revealed via Twitter late Sunday that her mother is pregnant.
The Come & Get It singer tweeted a picture of herself touching her mother Mandy Dawn Cornett's large baby bump. She captioned the image, "Hope all the amazing moms had a great day! I have the best momma in the world :)) I love you so much!"
The family kept the pregnancy news quiet for a while perhaps following Mandy's miscarriage in 2011. The child will be the first child for Gomez's mom and her stepfather, Brian Teefey. The couple married when Gomez was 5 and the baby will also make the singer a big sister for the first time.
Gomez's music video for Come & Get It debuted earlier in May. The track is off her upcoming album Stars Dance, which is the same name as her first solo world tour that she kicks off in August. Full a full list of tour dates, click here. Her album is set to be released this summer.
Gomez, 20, confirmed she was "absolutely available in every way" in an interview with Boston Kiss 108 on May 10, despite rumors that she rekindled her romance with pop singer Justin Bieber. The 19-year-old made people believe they got back together when he posted a shirtless photo of himself on Instagram in late April, which features Gomez hugging him from the back.
He captioned the picture, posted on April 26, " 'You've been making music for too long babe come cuddle' - her." The photo came a week after reports indicated that Gomez traveled to Norway to visit Bieber at one of his concert stops as part of his Believe world tour.
