CMA Awards 2016: Who Could Win At Country Music's 50th Annual Celebration? [POLL]
The CMA Awards are celebrating a bit anniversary this year, with their 50th annual awards ceremony honoring the biggest names in country music, and the 5th anniversary bash is sure to be a good one.
The show, which airs tonight on ABC at 8/7c, will see Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley return as hosts, and will feature a slew of performances throughout the night, including both hosts, in addition to Alabama, Pentatonix, Dierks Bentley, Reba, Dwight Yoakam, Eric Church, Brooks & Dunn, Clint Black, Maren Morris, Charley Pride, Martina McBride, Keith Urban, George Strait, Vince Gill, Alan Jackson, Kelsea Ballerini, Charlie Daniels, Garth Brooks with Trisha Yearwood, Randy Travis, Ricky Scaggs, Luke Bryan, Roy Clark, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Jennifer Nettles, Little Big Town, Thomas Rhett, Tim McGraw, Chris Stapleton, Kacey Musgraves and Elle King.
In addition the event will be star-studded through award presenters as well, who include, according to the CMAs website, Hayley Orrantia, Laurie Hernandez, Cole Swindell, Jennifer Garner, Matthew McConaughey, Simone Biles, Samantha Ponder, Bill Anderson, Lee Greenwood, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Olivia Newton-John, Madison Kocian, Lily Tomlin, Kirk Herbstreit, Gabby Douglas, Sharon Stone, Cam, Brenda Lee, The Oak Ridge Boys, Aly Raisman, Josh Dallas and Barbara Mandrell.
Prior to the show, two awards were already given for Music Video of the Year (which went to Chris Stapleton for "Fire Away") and Musical Event of the Year (which went to "Different for Girls" for Dierks Bentley ft. Elle King).
