Castro Brother Onil Says Ariel, Kidnapping Suspect of Three Cleveland Women, Should 'Rot in Jail' [PHOTOS/VIDEO]
The two brothers of Ohio kidnapping and rape suspect Ariel Castro told CNN they hope their accused brother suffers in jail "to the last extent."
Onil and Pedro Castro commented in an exclusive interview with the network on the arrest of their 52-year-old brother Ariel, the Cleveland native accused of abducting three women and holding them captive in his home for nearly a decade.
"I hope he rots in that jail," Onil said. "I don't even want them to take his life like that. I want him to suffer in that jail to the last extent."
Onil and Pedro said they had no idea their brother - a former school bus driver in Cleveland, was holding Amanda Berry, Michele Knight and Gine DeJesus against their will in his home. A now six-year-old girl named Jocelyn was also held captive, confirmed via DNA testing to be Ariel's child after he raped Berry, impregnanted her and forced Knight deliver the child.
Pedro and Onil proclaimed their innocent in their CNN interview, saying that if they knew what Ariel was up to, they "would have reported it, brother or no brother."
Footage from a neighbor who captures all everything on her cellphone camera shows police raiding Ariel's home on May 6, the day Berry was able to escape the home, get the attention of a neighbor and call police. In the released video, police are shown at Ariel's door trying to get in, while Knight and DeJesus wait inside to be rescued.
Ariel is charged with four counts of kidnapping and three counts of rape. He is being held on an $8 million bond.
