Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus backstage feud heightens; 'Payphone' singer cannot stand songstress’ ‘obnoxious’ behavior
Adam Levine and Miley Cyrus are reportedly feuding behind the cameras of the current season of The Voice. This week, the drama heightens in a way that the Maroon 5 crooner threatens to leave the show if the management brings back the songstress in the next seasons.
Now that Season 11 is about to have its finale, things are heating up not only among competitors but also among coaches who have their own preferences as to who to work with in the show.
As reported by Radar Online, Adam finds the Wrecking Ball singer to be "the most obnoxious person ever" and he cannot stand her presence. The bad thing is the feeling is mutual and Miley also hated the seasoned coach.
Reports further suggested that other coaches Alicia Keys, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, joined Adam's loathing against the young mentor for her "loud mouth."
Fortunately, the Sugar singer may have his long-awaited break from Cyrus as the management earlier announced that she is not coming back for Season 12 and will be replaced by Gwen Stefani, who is said to have close ties with Adam and wife, Behati Prinsloo, Inquistr reported.
It is expected then that the rocker can have happy and relaxed moments working in the show with his friends, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. The drama, however, does not end here as Miley Cyrus is commissioned to return on the show's season 13 next year, a move that has reportedly infuriated Adam who threatens to quit the show if she returns.
Meanwhile, Parent Herald reported that the reality TV show has not confirmed the rumors yet and in fact, it was said that Miley Cyrus worked so hard for her team members not to be eliminated. It was also reported that she would even cry if one contestant did not make it to the next battle rounds.
