The Weeknd and Bella Hadid split up due to conflicting schedules; may still remain as friends
The Weeknd and Bella Hadid joins this year's biggest celebrity breakup list after one year and six months of dating.
The breakup news came amidst Abel 'The Weeknd's' massive promotion for his new album and the brunette supermodel's grooming sessions for her first Victoria Secrets modelling stint this coming December, a show where she will also be joining her older sister Gigi Hadid.
According to a source mentioned in Jezebel, the once loved-up-couple finds it hard to coordinate their schedules to keep their relationship alive. No bad blood exists between them and as the source said, the two 'will remain friends' after the split.
Looking back, the couple made its first red carpet appearance at the Grammy's red carpet on February this year, looking all loved-up and happy with each other.
Also in August that the 19-year old supermodel gushed how in love she is with the singer saying that she is not after his fame but 'really love Abel' as that person behind the cameras, news.com.au said.
She also shared that while participating in a sexy photo shoot for a magazine, she makes her boyfriend as her inspiration to bring out the 'emotion in your eyes' and to make her look alive and inspired.
The Weeknd, on the other hand, wanted to make his then supermodel girlfriend to be the art for his Beauty Behind the Madness album. Well, that did not happen though.
Nevertheless, this will not be the last time that their paths will they will surely meet again for the annual Victoria Secret Fashion Show in early December with Bella as one of the VS angels and The Weeknd as one of the performers in the show.
