A couple from North Carolina is finding themselves under fire today after allegations that they kicked adopted children who helped them win a major renovation on ABC's Extreme Makeover:Home Edition back in 2011 out of their home shortly after the camera stopped rolling for their episode.

In a new interview with WSOC TV, two of the now adult-aged kids, Chris and Kamaya Friday, revealed that their one-time parents, Devonda and James Friday, quickly began kicking out them and their three other biological siblings shortly after the renovation was completed on their home, and within a year, all five adopted children were no longer living there.

"What they did to us was just wrong. [They] threw us all out," Chris said in the interview.

He revealed he was sent to a group home a few months after filming the show, and was told it was only temporary because he had a bad attitude--but it wound up not be temporary.

"Why did I have to leave? I just didn't understand it. And it made me beel not wanted, you know?" he said.

His sister echoed the story, saying she was given the same one a few months after him.

"You gave me away. Parents don't do that. No," she said.

The two maintain that within a year, all five of them had been kicked out of the house, and that they believe now that the Fridays has solely been motivated by money.

"My brother and sisters were 5 years old. How can they get that much trouble where they have to kick them out?" Chris said. "I know it was all about the money. From the first day, it was all about the money."

In the episode, the original small family home was converted into an eight bedroom mansion. Neither of the parents have spoken up and commented on the allegations.
