Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2016: FULL LINEUP Revealed, Which Singers, Celebs, Floats & Balloons Will Celebrate Holiday In NYC? [VIDEO]
It serves as the official kickoff of the holiday season, and this year, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will pull out all the stops and be one of its biggest celebrations yet, as the parade celebrates not only the holiday season, but it's 90th birthday as well.
According to a press release, the special 90th edition of the parade, which will once again be televised on NBC from 9 a.m. until noon on Thanksgiving Day, will feature 16 giant character balloons, 27 novelty/ornament balloons, ballonicloe and trycaloons, 26 floats, 1,100 cheerleaders and dancers, more than 1,000 clowns and 16 marching bands and performance groups.

Though not mentioned in the press release, the parade will also feature performances in Herald Square by The Radio City Rockettes, as well as the casts of the Broadway Musical Revival of Cats, and the casts of Holiday Inn: The New Irving Berlin Musical, Paramour and Waitress, as well as a sneak preview performance from NBC's Hairspray Live!.
The parade will begin at 9 a.m. at 77th and Central Park West and then make it's way to Herald Square at 34th and 7th. It will be broadcast live on NBC.
