LeAnn Rimes Brandi Glanville Feud, Singer Says She Has Tried To Make Peace With 'RHOBH' Star After Mother’s Day Flowers Gift
LeAnn Rimes vented her frustrations to a fan that Brandi Glanville was not appreciative enough of her overtures.
Glanville revealed on Monday that Rimes had sent her a bouquet of flowers for Mother's Day. She seemed confused by the gesture and noted that she and Rimes do not even speak to each other at the soccer kids her sons attend. Rimes responded to a fan who asked about the gift giving. The How Do I Live singer said the gesture was just one of many things she had done to bring peace between the them. The two have been in a war of words ever since Rimes cheated with Eddie Cibrian in 2009 while he was still married to Glanville.
"You have no idea, no one does what I've done to try," she told a fan. "Mother's Day just adds to the list. I can't make anyone try."
Rimes expressed surprise on the social media site that so much had been made over sending Glanville flowers. She commented on the matter in a tweet.
"Didn't expect a simple gesture to become a google alert," she tweeted.
Rimes also retweeted a message from StepMom magazine. It may have been in response to the attention her gesture generated.
"The most important decision you will make today is the decision to be in a good mood," the tweet said.
Glanville has not responded to Rimes' as of Thursday but she may not given that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star pledged that she would no longer battle her ex's new wife in public. In February, Glanville said that she would no longer be trading barbs with the country singer. The pledge came after Glanville released her best seller, Drinking & Tweeting and other Brandi Blunders. The book described in graphic detail the affair between Rimes and Cibrian. She described Rimes as "washed up," "Eddie's future ex," "what's-her-face" and "f-cking ruthless." A spokesperson for Rimes said that Glanville was the one who needed professional help.
"The book, for me, is closure on the subject," she E! "I won't be speaking about Eddie or LeAnn in public anymore. I won't be Twitter-warring with anyone."
